Stellar Travel Compass welcomes clear, original pitches that help general readers understand space travel without turning possibility into promise. Send proposals through the Contact page; unsolicited finished articles are not a substitute for an agreed pitch.

What fits

We consider explainers, comparisons, histories and tightly focused accounts of spacecraft, launches, missions and human spaceflight. Strong proposals have a specific reader question, a clear angle and a reason the subject matters beyond a passing headline.

Make the pitch concrete

In a short proposal, state the working title, central question, main points and the sources or expertise you would use. Flag uncertainty, commercial interests and any claims that need careful qualification. Avoid pitches that depend on unsupported predictions, promotional access or claims of insider knowledge.

Original work and clarity

Contributions must be original and written for readers without specialist training. Explain technical language, distinguish fact from interpretation and do not present general editorial material as operational advice. Disclose relevant affiliations or financial interests in the proposal.

How to send it

Use the Contact page and choose the editorial question option, then include your pitch in the message. A proposal is not an assignment; wait for an explicit agreement before preparing a full article. Do not include confidential or sensitive material.
